Hey Parents?
Immediately after both Sunday services, there will be very important meetings for parents of children at Shoal Creek. Meet the leaders of your children/students at Shoal Creek as well as the FOUNDRY interns who will be working in some of these areas this summer.
Parents of children in all Zones (birth to 5th grade)
We’ll meet up in the Attic. The Zone Team would love a chance to share with you all the exciting things going on in the Zones! Please come and be a part of the action! Your children will be supervised in the Zones until the meeting is over – it will only last about 15 minutes! Parents of students in 6-12th grade (including students finishing 5th grade)
We’ll meet down in the Underground. We desire for your student’s Small Group leaders to meet you and we want to discuss our summer plans including the Hispanic children’s camp our students are in charge of running one week this summer. We also want to ensure we have all your correct contact info, especially the parent’s of incoming 6th graders. And, we hope to enlist your help providing rides and dinner for one night of the camp. Baptism Let’s All Celebrate!
Wednesday, June 10
At Shoal Creek, we believe those adults who have made the decision to accept Jesus as their Leader and Savior should publicly declare their newfound trust through a baptism by water. If you are desiring to get baptized (or are considering it), please visit www.shoalcreek.org/baptism to read more about Baptism, to register online and to download and print the necessary pre-work for the classes. While completing the Online Baptism Registration, be sure to select the required 2-part Baptism class below. The classes will be held in the office area at Shoal Creek.
* Option 2: Thursday sessions, May 28th (Part 1) & June 4th (Part 2) from 6:30 – 8 p.m.
Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend one of the most incredible experiences we have at Shoal Creek Community Church! Our annual Baptism Celebration!

We believe serving should be enjoyable and that God has wired each of us with gifts, talents and abilities. DYN is a 45-minute class for adults that introduces you to the opportunities to get connected around Shoal Creek. After either service in the Office Commons. Contact Tracy Potter at DYN@shoalcreek.org or 454-8726 to register or with your questions.
* If you attend after the 1st service, feel free to leave your children in the Zones but inform your Zone worker immediately after the service before attending.
* If you attend after the 2nd service, pick up your children from the Zones and bring them with you. We’ll have a childcare provider there.

Curious about what goes on “behind the scenes” on Sunday morning? Or, are you fascinated with music and technology? The Sound and Light Team is looking for additional volunteers to assist with Sunday mornings. No prior experience is needed, as we meet monthly on the 4th Tuesday of each month for training and community, just a desire to learn and a passion to serve. New Mom’s Group Starts Tuesday, June 9th
Looking for an opportunity to connect with other moms over the summer? We meet on Tuesdays from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Our new study, Shepherding a Child’s Heart, will run for 8 weeks. “out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks.” Luke 6:45. The things your child does and says flows from the heart. Interns – 2009Our desire is to have folks provide lunch for the interns every Tuesday through Friday from May 26 to July 31. Plan on feeding about 12 people. June 11 and 12 are some “early” dates we need to fill quickly. The week of June 15-18, the interns will help our students put on a Kid Camp at Mission Adelante in KC, Kansas. Each of those 4 days, we need lunch and dinner delivered for approximately 25 people. Want to help but don’t cook, donations are always welcome.
